Woman Care Trust successfully completed its 2 years on 03rd November 2016. All the members gathered on 9th November 2016 at the Community Centre to celebrate the occasion. All the ladies shared their experience with others about the changes happened in their lives after joining Woman Care Trust. Many of them got emotional and were very thankful to the organisation in giving them the opportunity to start a living a happy life in New Zealand. Most of the members of our organisation are senior ladies who cannot speak English and are elderly. They really appreciate our organisation for conducting English, Computer, Yoga and Gym classes to educate them in surviving in New Zealand. To lighten the atmosphere Baljit Dheil served refreshment to the ladies Indian snack “Samosas” with the desert “Jalebi” and masala Tea. The staff of Woman Care Trust tried to share the past event photos and videos with the ladies. Baljit Dheil had also arranged for the Cake to celebrate the WCT anniversary. All the playgroup children and other members of the organisation blowed the candle and cut the cake. All the ladies then played music, danced on Punjabi songs, captured beautiful moments and had lot of fun.
When Woman Care Trust was opened there was only 1 member, now we have 328 members joined our organisation. We hope to double the number of members in the coming years to work for the benefit of the Community and spread the happiness.
