Punjabi folk song singing session – 10 February 2026

The Punjabi folk song singing session organised by Woman Care Trust on 10th February 2026 had a very positive impact on the community and members of the trust. The session provided a special platform for ladies to stay connected with their cultural roots and traditional Punjabi folk music. This session also helped members learn new folk songs and understand the meaning and importance of traditional Punjabi music. Senior members shared their knowledge and encouraged younger members to participate, which helped in passing cultural traditions from one generation to another.

Such activities reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness, especially for members who are new to New Zealand or living away from their extended families.
