Woman Care Trust organised its monthly Ladies Day at WCT Centre on 31st March 2026, a meaningful and successful event. The day began with a peaceful religious prayer, creating a positive and welcoming environment for all attendees. This was followed by morning tea, where members had the opportunity to connect and socialise. A key highlight of the event was the informative health session delivered by representatives from the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. The session focused on the importance of early detection of breast cancer, educating women on recognising symptoms and understanding how and where to report concerns.
More than 80 members attended the event, with all participants dressed in pink to show solidarity and raise awareness for breast cancer. This collective gesture created a strong sense of unity and reinforced the importance of women’s health and safety within the community.
