The Punjabi Folk Song Singing Session held on 12th May at the Woman Care Trust Centre created a positive and welcoming environment where around 60 ladies came together to sing traditional Punjabi cultural songs. The session helped members feel socially connected, emotionally supported, and actively engaged within the community. Many ladies enjoyed spending quality time together, sharing laughter, memories, and cultural traditions, which helped reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
The session also played an important role in keeping members attached to their traditional heritage and cultural roots. Through traditional folk songs, members were able to celebrate Punjabi culture, remember old traditions, and pass cultural values from one generation to another. These gatherings help preserve cultural identity while giving members a sense of pride and belonging within the community.
