28 September – School Holiday Program

During the September–October school holidays, Woman Care Trust organised another School Holiday Programme for children aged 5–10 years, running from 28 September to 9 October 2026 at the WCT Centre.

A wide range of fun, educational and engaging activities have been organised to keep the children active, learning and connected throughout the school holidays. Activities include arts and crafts, dancing, exercise and fitness activities, mental maths, educational games, group activities and creative challenges.

As part of the programme, St John Ambulance also visited the WCT Centre and delivered an informative and interactive session for the children. This provided them with an opportunity to learn useful safety and emergency awareness skills in an age-appropriate and engaging way.

The programme has created a positive and welcoming environment where children can learn new skills, develop confidence, stay physically active, use their creativity and build friendships with other children in the community. It also provides valuable support to parents and families by giving children access to meaningful and affordable activities during the school holidays.

The programme is still continuing, and the response so far has been very encouraging. Children are thoroughly enjoying the activities, and Woman Care Trust has received positive feedback from parents, who have appreciated the variety of activities and the opportunity provided to their children.

The positive response demonstrates the value of WCT’s School Holiday Programme and its contribution towards children’s learning, wellbeing, confidence, social development and stronger community connections.
