Woman Care Trust organised a three-month follow-up health session in collaboration with Diabetes NZ on 22nd September 2026 for members who had participated in health checks conducted three months earlier. The session aimed to review members’ progress, monitor their health, and provide further guidance and support.
During the follow-up, members were checked again and their results were reviewed. Staff from Diabetes NZ provided appropriate remedies and lifestyle suggestions based on individual needs. Members who were found to have high blood sugar levels were advised to consult their GP for further assessment and medical advice. Woman Care Trust also offered support to members who may have difficulty accessing healthcare services by assisting them with arranging GP appointments where required.
The follow-up session was an important part of WCT’s commitment to supporting the ongoing health and wellbeing of its members, encouraging early intervention and helping members take positive steps towards managing their health
