Date: 27 November 2017

Woman Care Trust successfully celebrated their 30th Senior Ladies Day on 27th November 2017 at Learning Centre. About 70-80 ladies attended the event. As usual we started our function with reciting holy prayer “Chaupai Sahib Path” Prayers provide peace of Mind –As you pray, you welcome peace and tranquility into your mind, which then affects how you live your life. When you alleviate the stresses in your life, you’re better able to concentrate on the things that are important, such as family or work. After the prayers ladies did some exercise under the supervision of yoga instructor Paramjit Kaur. Increased fitness, strength, confidence, coordination and mood are just some of the positive affects experienced by our members. Health experts advise that regular exercise for the elderly offers great benefits, including extending lifespan. After exercise refreshment of Tea and Indian snack “Samosa” and Indian sweets were served to the ladies. After the tea break ladies played some traditional games. These games boosts Cognitive Abilities. Improves physical health, increases socialization, accelerates healing and recuperation.
