15 September 2026 – Blood Pressure Check

Woman Care Trust organised a free blood pressure check camp on 15 September 2026 at the WCT Centre to support its members' health and wellbeing. The initiative gave members an easy, accessible opportunity to have their blood pressure checked and become more aware of their cardiovascular health.

Members were encouraged to regularly monitor their blood pressure, particularly as high blood pressure can sometimes go unnoticed. Those whose readings were higher than the normal range were advised to monitor their blood pressure and consult their GP for further assessment and professional advice.

Community Impact

The free blood pressure check camp helped promote preventive healthcare and health awareness within the community. By providing this service free of charge at a familiar and accessible community centre, WCT encouraged members to take a more active role in looking after their health. The initiative was particularly beneficial for members who may not regularly monitor their blood pressure or may face barriers in accessing health checks.

Activities like these support WCT’s ongoing commitment to improving the physical and overall wellbeing of women and families, while helping members identify potential health concerns early and seek appropriate medical support when needed.
