06th April: Trip to Taupo

Woman Care Trust organised bus trip to Taupo on 06th April 2019. The trip started from the Centre with 110 ladies. The journey started with reciting religious prayer and then ladies had great fun on bus by singing and dancing. On the way to Taupo, bus stopped at Tirau to give ladies a break for their refreshment.

After reaching Taupo, ladies visited Huka Falls, which is the most- visited natural attraction in New Zealand. Everyone was amazed at the power and the beauty of the falls. All the members had wonderful time looking into the falls and capturing beautiful photos and videos of the fun with the friends on the trip. Before returning back to Auckland bus stopped at Lake Taupo to let ladies enjoy the beautiful, glistening water of the lake. Everyone had their lunch on side of the lake. After finishing their lunch ladies performed Punjabi folk dance. The bus moved back and reached Auckland bringing back the members with the beautiful memories

from the trip. The main motive of the trip was to enhance, promote and foster culture links and communication between the India and rest of the New Zealand, relieving poverty to recent immigrants to New Zealand by creating social network. All ladies made more friends at the trip and came to know more about New Zealand.
