Senior Ladies Bus Trip- Taupo

 

Woman Care Trust organised second bus trip to Taupo on 17th January 2016.The trip started from Kolmar Road, Papatoetoe with 50 ladies. On the way to Taupo, bus stopped at Matamata to give ladies a break for their refreshment. After reaching Taupo, ladies visited Wairakei Natural Thermal Valley which is famous tor discovering ancient thermal features amidst for native birds. Then the next visit was Huka Falls. A trip to Taupo wouldn’t be complete without looking into spectacular Huka Falls, everyone was amazed at the power and the beauty of the falls. Before returning back to Auckland bus stopped at Lake Taupo to let ladies enjoy the beautiful, glistening water of the lake. Everyone had their lunch on side of the lake. After finishing their lunch ladies performed on Punjabi folk dance. Kiwi TV staff was also travelling with the ladies, they took interview of few ladies on their experience of this trip. The bus moved back and reached Auckland at 7.30pm. The main motive of the trip was to entertain ladies in helping them to overcome their routine boredom and social insecurity. All ladies made more friends at the trip and came to know more about New Zealand.
