“Punjabi Folk Dance” Giddha Class

Bhangra  - Children - Friday - 6.00 pm-7.00 pm

Bhangra  - Girls - Friday - 7.00 pm-8.00 pm

Giddha is a popular folk dance of women in Punjab and exhibits teasing fun and exuberance of Punjabi life. The dancers enact verses called bolis, which represents folk poetry at its best. Giddha is based around energy and happiness It is a very colorful dance. The  'Golden Girls' (Giddha team of Woman Care trust)  performs this dance time to time at festive or social occasions organized by Woman Care Trust and other social societies.
