8th seniors Day
Woman care trust organized 8th senior’s ladies day on 26th October at Community center. There were more than 50 ladies who attended the function. This event helped the ladies to get rid of their boredom and loneliness by making new friends and getting socialized. The beginning of the day with the holly words of choupai sahib. After that they sang some devotional songs. All women did some warm up exercises under the supervision of Paramjit Kaur (Yoga Instructor). Light refreshment was provided by Baljit Dheil. Then they played two rounds of traditional game ‘Tambola’. They enjoyed it a lot. Baljit Dheil distributed prizes to all the winners. The event gave the ladies an opportunity to have fun together. Dr. Kamaljit Kaur provided some useful information about skin problems. At the end they did one minute silence in the remembrance of martyrs in Punjab. Amarjit Kaur had spoken few words about the present situation of Punjab. After that they had pizza party. Overall it was a memorable day for ladies.
